Ways to Get Involved

There are numerous ways to get involved at FHSU. Join a student organization, attend athletic events, or participate in activities sponsored by the residence halls, University Activities Board, Student Government Association, Greek Life, Diversity Affairs, Athletics, and / or Intramurals and Recreation. Look for detailed information on kiosks and bpletin boards across campus, or visit the Center for Student Involvement, located in the lower level of the Memorial Union, 785-628-4664.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ORIENTATION

A three day orientation will be held for all new international students August 18-22. A few of the topics addressed during orientation include: immigration & academic information, residential life & housing, student health, cpture shock, campus safety, technology on campus, and getting involved. All new international students at FHSU are highly encouraged to participate in this event!

DIVERSITY AFFAIRS

Be sure to check out the Diversity-themed bpletin boards and website "spotlights," sponsored by various student organizations and university departments, in the Library and Memorial Union!

FRATERNITY LIFE

Are you interested in joining a Fraternity at FHSU or just learning more about this great opportunity? Each fraternity has an individual responsible for recruiting new members. Contact the Center for Student Involvement, (785) 628-4664 or csi@fhsu.edu, for contact information on our four Fraternities. Fraternities at FHSU seek new members throughout the entire academic year. There are no registration fees to submit your interest in joining a fraternity at FHSU.
