AREAS OF EMPHASIS FOR THE AGS

The Associate of General Studies Program (AGS) offers a unique educational opportunity – that of a liberal arts and science program drawing on all of the resources of our university. The University offers a full range of curriculum, and many departments offer special programs in their areas of concern. Within this environment it is possible to pursue any interest and develop every talent. The area of emphasis can be tailored to prepare students for entry into a particular career area. Emphasis areas include, but are not limited to:

Education
Communication Studies
Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems
General Business
Geography/GIS
Health Promotion
Human Services
Justice Studies
Leadership Studies
Media Studies
Office Administration
Technology Studies
