Advisor
Evaluations
Assessment is aimed at evaluating the
programs and educational opportunities at Fort Hays State University
to identify areas of excellence (strength) and areas for improvement
(opportunities). The FHSU Academic Advising Evaluation is built
on the ongoing efforts of the university to enhance student learning
and experiences within the institution.
Each year since 2000, assessment has been conducted
related to academic advising. We want to provide our students with
a learning experience that supports the achievement of excellence,
assessment and continuous improvement. Our assessment activities
evolved out of our efforts to provide a positive learning experience
in relation to many factors. One of those factors is academic advising.
Assessment allows us to demonstrate integrity and accountability
that is necessary for continual improvement. All students have been
provided with the opportunity to participate in the assessment of
academic advising. Please encourage their participation on an individual
level to help us identify if we are meeting the mission and goals
of academic advising at Fort Hays State University.
Below is the list of items included in the FHSU Academic
Advising Evaluation 2005-2006.
