FHSU Academic Advising Information:

Academic Advising is required at Fort Hays State University. TigerEnroll is not a substitute for advising. Please set up advising appointments for your on campus as well as phone appointments for your virtual students.

Did you know that students can take 6 hours at Fort Hays State University and still receive Financial Aid? Yes, it is true. Many students do not know this information. Please contact Financial Assistance office at 785-628-4408 or visit their web site at http://www.fhsu.edu/finaid/ if you have questions.

Students not sure what their FHSU ID number is? Tell them to log into TigerTracks, click on Online Services Tab, and look under Academics. Advisors will find this in TigerEnroll.

On April 3rd, 2007 the Faculty Senate approved a resolution regarding mid-term grades. The Provost and President approved the resolution. In the past, faculty were required to submit grades of A, B, C, D, U or I for all on campus students. The new requirement requires faculty to submit only grades of P (Passing), D, or U. The student system has been programmed to only accept these grades. The mid-term grade requirement is only for on campus students. This change takes place immediately for the Fall 2007 semester.

TigerEnroll:

REMINDER: Advisors, when approving students schedules this fall please, remember that you need to put REP next to those courses that a student is repeating. This is done by advisors approving the courses, then going back to the repeat course, click on the dropdown menu, select REP and click on Submit Changes.

THANK YOU to everyone who filled out the TigerEnroll survey. The TigerEnroll development team with be reviewing and prioritizing the results. Winner of the Ipod will be announced soon!
