Accreditation
In 2001, Fort Hays State University embarked on a new and exciting chapter in its century long development as an academic institution in the state of Kansas. Having received the support of the Kansas Board of Regents, the University embraced a new model of accreditation called the Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP). The North Central Association (NCA) has allowed member institutions to pursue a track which seeks to adopt the guiding principles of continuous quality improvement as its guiding force. Fort Hays State University has accepted this challenge.
