The FHSU Science and Mathematics Education Institute is open Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm excluding state holidays. Feel free to contact the Institute staff if we can be of assistance to you.
Dr. Paul Adams is the Director for the Science and Mathematics Education Institute. He received his B.S. in Physics/Math from Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio, in 1983. From there he went on to receive his Master's Degree in Physics from Washington University. In 1996 he achieved his Doctorate of Philosophy in Science Education from Perdue University. When he is not busy working, Dr. Adams enjoys his time at home with his wife, Cheryl, and twins who are in middle school. He also has two children who live outside of the home.

Ms. Ann Noble is the Financial Administrator for the Science and Mathematics Education Institute as well as the Kansas Academy of Mathematics and Science. She received her B.A. in Accounting in 2005 from Fort Hays State University. Ms. Noble resides in Hays, Kansas, with her husband, Warren, and son. She also has two grown children who live outside of the home with two grandchildren and one on the way.

Ms. Mallory Smith began working in the Science and Mathematics Education Institute as a Project Director in 2011. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Fort Hays State University in May, 2012. In her spare time, Mallory is a nanny for six young children. She resides in Hays, Kansas.

Ms. Melissa Mayers became the Administrative Assistant for the Science and Mathematics Education Institute in July, 2011. She received her B.B.A. in Business from Fort Hays State University in 2001. Ms. Mayers resides in Hays, Kansas, with her husband, John, and daughter.

We Couldn't Do It With Them....Our Student Workers
Megan Adams is a student worker for the Science and Mathematics Education Institute, which she began in June, 2011. Megan is currently majoring in English. She resides in Hays, KS.
Jocelyn Adams is a student worker for the Science and Mathematics Education Institute, which she began in August, 2011. Jocelyn is currently majoring in Mathematics Education. She resides in Hays, KS with her husband, David. In her spare time she is a swim coach for Hays High School.
Gabrielle Kuhlman is a student worker for the Science and Mathematics Education Institute, which she began in August, 2011. Gabrielle is currently majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education. Gabrielle originates from Sharon Springs, Kansas, and resides in Hays, KS.
