Faculty Applications for Undergraduate Research Support for 2013-14 are now available!
All current full-time Fort Hays State University faculty and unclassified staff members at levels comparable to academic faculty are eligible to apply. All academic disciplines are encouraged to submit proposals!

Completed applications must be submitted to the Office of Scholarship and Sponsored Projects on or before September 6, 2013.
Since the funds are intended to
promote and improve the Undergraduate Research Experience Initiative at the
university, broad criteria have been adopted for review of individual
applications. Among the factors that are considered are the following:
- Relevance to the Undergraduate Research
Experience AQIP action plan
- Strategies enhancing high quality inquiry-based
learning experiences
- Potential for encouraging the processes of
discovery and scholarship in students
- Budget is justified
- Proposal includes a feasible work plan and
timeline
- Projects which involve multiple students
Review criteria:
Categories of URE scholarship include Discovery, Application, Pedagogy, Integration and Engagement
All awardees (faculty and
students) will be required to participate in an assessment of this grant
program. Assessment strategies will include surveys.
