 The  Office of Scholarship and Sponsored Projects provides different workshops for Fort Hays State University faculty, staff and students: 

  • Grant Writing: These workshops are suitable for the beginning and experienced grant writer (Faculty and staff only) 
  • Human Subjects Research and the FHSU IRB Process:  Faculty, staff, and students. Class presentations available by appointment.  
  • Responsible Conduct of Research: These workshops cover general and specific aspects of RCR (Under development) 
  • Undergraduate Research: Faculty workshops (Under development)

Finding Funding
 
This workshop demonstrates how to search for grants using  InfoEd, GRC, Grants.gov, Foundation Center and other strategies. Discussion will also cover trends in funding. Faculty and Staff only.
 

 Human Subjects Research Workshop Series

1/26/11 3:00-4:00 PH 309 Introduction to Human Subjects Research: IRB Open to faculty, staff and students. Covers rationale, types of review, definition of human subjects research,  levels of risk, informed consent,  vulnerable populations and basic IRB information.
1/27/11 3:30-4:30 PH 309 Using IRBNet at FHSU All human subjects research at FHSU must be submitted using IRBNet. Open to faculty, staff and students who conduct research involving human subjects.
