This area of concentration prepares students for careers in teaching K-12 physical
education. Individuals are encouraged to select an optional endorsement in Health or Adapted Physical Education. For those students interested in coaching, a professional development program is also available. Many school districts in Kansas and across the country have employment opportunities for quality physical education teachers and coaches.
