Midwest Student Exchange Program
Worried about cost? Well we have a deal just for you! You may have the opportunity to attend FHSU for a reduced tuition rate under the Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP). This is a program designed for residents of Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, North Dakota, Illinois, and Indiana who are wanting to attend FHSU as an on campus student (note: this program does not apply to virtual college students).
Requirements for Incoming Freshmen
T
o be considered, applicants MUST have a declared major (Radiology, Medical Diagnostic Imaging and Speech Pathology majors are excluded from the MSEP program. Students also cannot declare Undecided) and meet one of the requirements:
1) Have an ACT score of 21 or higher, OR a comparable SAT score
2) Have a 2.5 grade point average in the core curriculum (4 units English, 3 units Natural Science, 3 units Math,
3 units Social Sciences)
3) Rank in the top 1/3 of your graduating class.
Requirements for Transfer Students**

**Transfer students must have a 3.00 cumulative college GPA along with one of the above requirements.
In order to continue in the program at Fort Hays State University a student must:
1) be a full-time student (12 credit hours or more per semester);
2) be continuously enrolled (fall/spring semesters) and not to exceed four years of college enrollment (includes enrollment at previous colleges and FHSU);
3) maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA.
