Midwest Student Exchange Program

You may have the opportunity to attend FHSU for a reduced tuition rate under the Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP). This is a program designed for residents of Nebraska, Missouri, Minnesota, Michigan, and North Dakota who are wanting to attend FHSU.

Requirements for the Midwest Student Exchange Program

-Have an ACT score of 21 or higher, OR a comparable SAT score, OR 2.5 grade point average in the core curriculum (4 units English, 3 units Natural Science, 3 units Math, 3 units Social Sciences and one unit of computer technology) OR be in the top 1/3 of your graduating class. You do not need to meet all three requirements; just one of the three.
- You must also have a declared major. Undecided will not work.
- Have a 3.00 cumulative GPA on all previous post secondary education credit.

*Transfer students must meet one of the three above criteria as well as achieving a cumulative 3.0 GPA at their present institution.

In order to continue in the program at Fort Hays State University a student must:

A) be a full-time student (12 credit hours or more per semester); 
B) be continuously enrolled (fall/spring semesters) and not to exceed four years of college enrollment (includes enrollment at previous colleges and FHSU);
C) maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA.
