Be Heard:

Voter Registration, Education, & Mobilization

Current trends show that citizens ages 18-24 have the lowest turnout at the election polls. Be Heard: Voter Registration, Education, & Mobilization is designed to reverse this trend by stimulating college students to be active in their democracy.

Through voter registration drives, college students are encouraged to register to vote. The education arm teaches students about absentee ballots, the importance of ONE vote, how to find their polling location and many other facets associated with voting. Finally, mobilization gets students to the polls. Every effort is made to aid students in voting from their new location, college. Events are held on the last day to register to vote as well as the night of the election. Regardless of party, all students are encouraged to pick up a ballot and have a voice.
