Talking Democracy
Join us each week as discussions are held that stimulate civic engagement on Talking Democracy. This 30 minute broadcast is aired live on KFHS, local cable channel 17 on Wednesday’s at 5:00pm (CST). Host Chapman Rackaway, Associate Professor of Political Science, operates on the premises that democracy is messy. The mission of Talking Democracy is to reinvigorate universities and colleges as sites of civic responsibility and engagement.
Topics each week are current, relevant, and stimulate conversation regardless of political party. It’s not about who to be involved with, it’s about being involved. Suggestions for guest speakers or topics are welcome. Send requests to crackawa@fhsu.edu.
