KSDE District Leadership Licensure Requirements

Individuals who have completed a Masters Degree AND Building Leadership Endorsement may elect to complete the District Leadership Endorsement as a "Non-degree" student.

PLEASE NOTE: You must be admitted to the Graduate School as a "Non-Degree" student to pursue the District Leadership Endorsement.  The required forms and procedures for admission to the Graduate School (non-degree status) are available at: http://www.fhsu.edu/gradschl/ 

  • The following requirements must be completed for the District Leadership Endorsement by the Kansas State Department of Education:

     

    SCHOOL LEADERSHIP LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:

    DISTRICT LEVEL

    To receive an institutional verification from Fort Hays State University to the Kansas State Department of Education, applicants for a District Leadership endorsement must complete the Fort Hays State University approved District Leadership Program and have a total of 60 graduate hours.

    B. Graduate Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) Requirement
