Program-at-a-Glance for District Leadership
During your time at FHSU, your program of study in
the Department of Advanced Education Programs will prepare you to face the
challenges of leading a school district from the position of superintendent or assistant superintendent. To successfully complete either program, you must maintain a 3.25 grade point average in all graduate coursework and complete your classes within six year. Your coursework includes credit in each of the following core areas:

the specialist in education degree must be earned in residence at FHSU. Any
exception to this requirement must have the prior approval of the Dean of the
Graduate School. No portion of the degree program may be taken by extension or
correspondence.
