As one of six departments within the College of Health and Life Sciences (CHLS) at Fort Hays State University, the Department of Agriculture prepares students for careers in modern agriculture. The development of practical management skills, coupled with the teaching of current scientific methods, provides students with a desirable balance of application and theory. Graduates are well prepared to meet the future challenges that will take agriculture into the next century.
