Mr. Buddy B.
Curry is the newest addition to Fort Hays State University Department of Agriculture
faculty. Mr. Curry’s responsibilities are coaching the livestock judging
team, classroom instruction and co-advising Block
and Bridle Club. Mr. Curry arrives at FHSU with 11 years experience coaching
and teaching from a junior college in Texas and has 6 years experience as a Federal
Food Inspector with the USDA. Mr. Curry received his Masters of Science in Animal
Science from West Texas A&M University, Bachelors of Science in Animal Science
from Oklahoma Panhandle State University and Associates of Science in Animal Science
and Agricultural Education from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M.
Mr. Curry’s goal is to help aid students in becoming successful
in their college and life endeavors. He hopes to guide and educate the student
to become successful at evaluating livestock to the industry standards, and
apply the evaluation logic and reasoning skills to the rest of their lives.
