Mr. Kolby Burch is in his 5th year as the coach of
the Tigers. First and foremost he knows that livestock judging is
an academic program and students must be successful in the classroom.
Competitively, he has a winning record. In his short tenure, the
Tigers have compiled one of the most successful records in the history
of the program. Highlights include a 7th place Louisville finish,
a 5th place overall placing in Houston and a Reserve Champion Overall
honor in Ft. Worth. Mr. Burch judged competitively at Casper College
(1999-2000) and Iowa State University (2001). He amassed one of the
most successful records in collegiate livestock judging history.
Individually he had the honor of winning Louisville in both junior
and senior college. He separated himself from the competition by
10 points in the reasons room in the Louisville senior college contest.
He was 1st overall and in reasons at Denver. He also won Sioux Falls
and Wichita. Other top 10 finishes include Kansas City, Houston,
Des Moines, and Milwaukee. Kolby understands what it takes to win
and how to prepare you to win |
