Overview
Pi
Omega Pi is a national honor society for teachers of Business Education.
The organization was founded in 1923 and Lambda Chapter was established
at Fort Hays in 1930. Thus far, 409 students have been members of
Lambda Chapter. Membership requirements include 3 hours of an education
course, 9 hours of business courses, and a 3.0 GPA.
The
chapter holds monthly meetings with a program that deals with some
aspect of Business Education. Additional meetings are held to work
on special projects. A national convention is held annually in conjunction
with the National Business Education Association Convention. Lambda
Chapter has consistently ranked amongst the top ten chapters nationally.
