I taught high school business in Arkansas before joining
the faculty of Fort Hays State University 15 years ago. I was born
in Jersey City, NJ, but grew up in Northwest Arkansas. I enjoy traveling,
gardening, and teaching in my church. In 2001 I was named the Director
for the Center for Economic Education, I served on the Executive
Board of the Kansas Business Education Association for six years.
I am currently the Publications Chair for the Mountain-Plains Business
Education Association and serve on the Publications Committee for
the National Business Education Association. My research interests
include the job search, soft skills, and business etiquette.
