Radiographer Degree Completion Program
This program provides opportunity for registered radiogaphers,
who are graduates of accredited hospital x-ray technology programs,
to earn a college degree. The radiographer may complete either
an Associate
of Science degree or Bachelor
of Science degree, depending upon his/her career goals.
Admission Requirements: (1) active certification by, and
in good standing with, the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
(ARRT); (2) graduation from a JRCERT-CAHEA accredited hospital-based
radiography program; and (3) eligibility for admission into FHSU.
Transfer Procedure: Official transcripts provided by the
applicant's hospital-based program will be evaluated for eligibility.
Up to 43 semester hours of radiography course credit may be granted
for courses completed with a "C" or better grade toward
the hours required for the degree. Any and all required courses
for the degree, as well as all other degree requirements, must be
completed by the applicant. Prior college courswork will also be
considered for transferability; however, every applicant MUST fulfill
the residency requirements of the University.
Degree Curriculum: Refer to the curriculum of the Associate
of Science degree in Radiologic Technology or the Bachelor
of Science degree in Medical Diagnostic Imaging, or for any
other degree you may be interested in pursuing.
To Apply: (1) ask the radiography school you graduated from
to send us an official copy of your transcripts; (2) provide
use with a notarized copy of your active membership in good standing
with the ARRT; and (3) have sent to us official transcripts
from any and all colleges you've attended. Send these items to:
