Don't let the party pass you by. Order your tickets early by completing the reservation form. Or print it, fill it out and send it, with your payment, to the Alumni Association. - THURSDAY, October 4
- Tiger Alumni & Friends Golf Tournament
- 9 a.m. Registration, 11 a.m. Shotgun Start, Smoky Hill Country Club 3303 Hall
- Four-person scramble; reservations accepted on a first-come, first-served paid basis. Divisions: women, men, senior and mixed teams.
- Zero-Five Year Reunion
- 7-10 p.m., Memorial Union
- This is it folks...the first-ever zero to five year reunion dedicated to all recent FHSU graduates. Head back to campus to enjoy a full evening of fun, excitement, and relaxation in the newly decorated Cody Commons area of the Union. Entertainment, munchies and adult beverages provided. You won't believe the changes to this newly renovated building!
- FRIDAY, October 5
- Homecoming Registration
- 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Memorial Union
- All alumni and friends will want to check in at the registration desk and view biographical sketches and copies of the Reveille from all eras. Post a note to a friend on the message board, enjoy delicious snacks and a cool drink, and sign up for free Tiger prizes. It's a great place to meet and visit with other Tigers. All pre-paid tickets must be picked up at this time as well.
- Department of Geosciences Open House
- 8 a.m. to noon, Tomanek Hall
- What do a U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency Analyst and a Paleontologist collecting Cretaceous fossils in Northwest China have in common? They are FHSU Geosciences graduates of course! Take a stroll through this exciting department to experience first hand the successes taking place.
- Half-Century Club Induction & Brunch

- Celebrate with this very special group of alumni who graduated from Fort Hays State more than 50 years ago. Get reacquainted at the social, join old and new friends at a delicious brunch, and enjoy the induction of the newest of the group, the Class of 1957. Group photos will be taken to commemorate this special occasion.
- Campus Tour

- Join fellow Tigers on a guided tour of campus. See new sights at a leisurely pace and hear about the latest "happenings" from a student's perspective.

- Oktoberfest has become a tradition that people of all ages look forward to and enjoy. It is a community tribute to the Volga-German heritage where delicious foods, lively entertainment, games, crafts, and unique items for sale make it an event you won't want to miss.

- Sigma Sigma Sigma Reunion

- A highlight of every Homecoming Weekend is the recognition of individuals who have made exceptional contributions to society and the university. This year's Alumni Achievement Award recipients are Terrell Balthazor '71, Kenyon Griffin '61, Donna Jones Morris '69, and Charles Sexson '72. Honored with the Young Alumni Award are Grant Bannister '93 and David Grey '95, '97. The Nita M. Landrum Award will be presented to Mary Lou Blum and the Distinguished Service Award to Shawn Chen. Whether you are a past award recipient or know one of the honorees, help us recognize the achievements of these individuals.
- Tiger Deb Reunion

- 5K Fun Run/Walk

- To register and receive a FREE "Fun Run" t-shirt, complete both the attached disclaimer and registration form. Participants must sign disclaimer. All ages may participate.
- Tiger Breakfast
- 8:30 a.m., Memorial Union
- All Tiger faithful are invited to enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet while catching up with friends both old and new, including members of the Lewis Field Pioneers. After breakfast, the honored classes of 1947 and 1957, Tri Sigma, and Tiger Debs are invited to take a ride as official entries in the Homecoming Parade.

- Homecoming Parade
- 10:30 a.m., Main Street, Downtown Hays
- You'll cheer to the sights and sounds of the 2007 A Tiger Family Album Homecoming Parade as floats, bands and other parade entries "rock" in celebration! Members of the Tri Sigma, Tiger Debs and Classes of 1947/1957 reunions, are invited to board parade entries at 9:45 a.m. west of the Memorial Union to ride in the parade. If your group wants to participate or needs more information, contact Andy Smriga in the UAB office (785) 628-5255.
- Delta Zeta Sorority Gathering
- 11:30 a.m., 410 W. 6th
- The DZ house will host a soup and chili luncheon at the chapter house. Alumnae and their families, along with parents of current members, are invited to attend. Freewill donations will be greatly appreciated. RSVP to Delta Zeta Sorority at (785) 635-3719 by Saturday, Sept. 29.
- Tiger Friends & Family Picnic

- Fire up another victory by joining fellow FHSU alumni and friends to get your Tiger spirit revved up for the game with great food and a terrific band. Meet the Tiger mascot and cheerleaders, reminisce with old friends and munch on a delicious BBQ buffet with all the trimmings.

- Calling all Sigma Chi alumnus, families and current members - it's time for a washer's tournament and barbeque. Stop by the house prior to the FHSU football game to enjoy great food, fellowship and fun.

- Relive the good ol' days of sitting in the bleachers on a fall day, enjoying the sights and sounds of college football and cheering your Tigers to victory. This year's Homecoming game is a battle with the Griffons of Missouri-Western. At half-time, see an outstanding show that includes the FHSU marching band, Tiger Debs, and the coronation of Homecoming royalty. Special seating will be available for honored classes and reunion groups. Any game tickets not picked up at the registration table will be available by 12:30 p.m. at the southeast "Will-Call" ticket window of Lewis Field Stadium.
- Alpha Gamma Delta Open House

- AGD alumnae, families and current members are invited to relax and enjoy an AGD guided house tour and refreshments immediately following the FHSU vs Missouri-Western football game.
- TKE Fraternity

- TKE alumni can enjoy a post-game reception at the home of Dr. Herb Songer '66, '69, Alpha Upsilon Chapter alumnus and current Grand Officer of the National Fraternity. Spouses are invited to attend.
- Geosciences Reunion

- Calling all Geosciences alumni and faculty, old and new, this is one event you won't want to miss. Enjoy a social and silent auction prior to a specially- guided tour of Sternberg Museum Paleontology Collection. - Enjoy the "Homecoming Faculty Exhibition" featuring the award-winning works of FHSU Art Department teaching faculty.
- Sternberg Museum of Natural History
- Tuesday-Saturday 9 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sunday 1-7 p.m.; closed Mondays
- "Pasture & Range Plants," "Scaly Movie," "From Sea to Shining Sea," and "Museum Inspirations" remain on display as part of the museum's beautiful temporary exhibits area complementing permanent exhibits that include the world famous Fish-Within-A-Fish fossil and a fun-for-all-ages Discovery Room. Don't forget the fine gift shop, too, and purchase a museum membership!

- Visit the Barnes and Noble Bookstore located in the Memorial Union, Tiger Book Shop, 509 W. 7th, or the Tiger's Fort Athletic Store located at the football game to find that special FHSU Tiger merchandise. Alumni Association members will receive discounts on all items except textbooks and sale items - must show membership card to qualify.
