AQIP Reports and Documents
The main function of AQIP is to provide
a vehicle to continuous process improvement. As a means of facilitating
reaction, response and feedback, we are providing the mass accumulation
of information and data to the campus community.
2007 AQIP Quality Checkup
Visit
Fort Hays State University hosted its
AQIP Quality Checkup Visit January 30 - February 2, 2007. The purpose
of this accreditation visit was for improvement. The visit was designed
to accomplish the following five tasks:
-
Clarify questions about our Systems Portfolio
(especially those identified opportunities for improvement)
-
Check status of changes from our Systems Appraisal
and second Strategy Forum
-
Follow-up on Accreditation Issues (none have
been identified for FHSU)
-
Review federal compliance documents
-
Assure FHSU's commitment to academic quality
Keep in mind, the United States Department
of Education requires this visit to maintain eligibility for financial
assistance.
FHSU received its AQIP
Quality Checkup Report from the Higher Learning Commission in
May 2007.
2006 AQIP Strategy Forum
Over the first three years we built indicators
and collected data culminating in the Systems Portfolio and Feedback
Report. The next step was a series of strategy forums to help determine
future activities and direction: Summary
of University Forums for the February 2006 AQIP Strategy Forum.
Resulting from Fort Hays State University's
participation in the AQIP Strategy Forum in February 2006, new AQIP
Action Projects were established. They are reflected in our 2007
Performance Agreement with KBOR and are listed below:
