2007-2008 FHSU Cheerleading Squad

The FHSU Cheer Squad is a highly
visual part of the student body which promotes athletics and serves as an ambassador for the university.
The squad is comprised of dedicated and hard working individuals who have fun and strive to continually
better themselves. Members instilled with these qualities have found much success both on and off the field
and serve as role models for the community.
The FHSU cheer squad cheers for all home football and basketball games, and travels to some away games
and any post-season tournaments. As major representatives of the university, members also are responsible
for performances at community events, grand openings, etc. They also work at the Special Olympics basketball
tournament each year and judge tryouts for area high schools and junior high schools. The squad is comprised
of both co-ed and all girl couples and stunt groups, and practices 3-4 times a week.
If you would like to visit a practice session or will be attending a game, please call and let us know, or look
for us at the game. We would be happy to talk with you or have you work with us!
