This is a Fort Hays State University student organization that was started during the Spring semester of 1999. Students saw the need and potential within the Information Networking & Telecommunications Department for an organization which would benefit those with an emphasis in computer networking and telecommunications as well as any other students interested in technology.

The purpose of the Advanced Technology Student Organization is to unite students for the sharing of knowledge and the promotion of technological innovation and growth of the University.
