Study Guide

After reading the required texts -- Desert Ecology by John Sowell and The View from Bald Hill by Carl and Jane Bock -- and the information on this website (Highlights from Previous Fieldtrips and the Overview), you should be able to complete this study guide. Open the Microsoft Word file and save it to your computer, disk, or stick. You can then open your copy of the file and add thoughtful explanations to each item in the study guide. By the end of February, you must submit an electronic copy of your results as an e-mail attachment to Mark Eberle (meberle@fhsu.edu). Failure to do so can result in the loss of 1 letter-grade. If you have questions, contact the instructor. Marked copies of your answers will be returned to you so that you can use them to support your final report. Most recent update: 21 March 2005.
