The FHSU Biology Club is an active group of undergraduate and graduate students involved in all aspects of biology. Activities are numerous, highlighted recently by teaming with the Sternberg Museum of Natural History to assist with outreach activities and develop an interpretive nature trail and outdoor classroom in Hays. Future projects will include recycling projects, a variety of fundraising activities, and a field trip to a location of the members' choice with their earnings. For more information about the Biology Club, contact the club president, Brian Serpan (firstname.lastname@example.org), or the faculty advisor, Dr LaFantasie (email@example.com).
In addition to department-sponsored clubs, biology majors participate in a wide variety of university-sponsored clubs and organizations, such as Student Government Association, Tigers in Service, and Intramurals. For more information about the 100+ student organizations you can participate in, visit the Center for Student Involvement web site.
