All color images used on these web pages were taken either with a Kodak DC120 digital camera at best setting (prior to June 1999) or a Nikon Coolpix 950 or 995 at fine setting (after June 1999).  Except for SEM images all macro and microscope images were taken with a Nikon Coolpix 950 0r 995 attached to a Columbia Instruments MMCool microscope adapter.  They were then manipulated and assembled using Corel Photo-Paint 10, Corel Draw 10, Corel Presentations 10, Pagemaker 6.5, and Netscape Composer 4.7 - 7.1. Most image files as displayed are JPEG 8-50K files.  Black and white images are scans (HP IICX flatbed scanner) of micrographs originally taken with a Topcon SX30 scanning electron microscope on Polaroid 665 P/N film.  All text and images © Joseph R.
