Fort Hays State University is making plans now to deal with the certain impact of the troubled state economy on our university. While the details will not be known until the Kansas Legislature makes final decisions in April or May 2009, we know the impact will be profound and will continue into the foreseeable future. This Budget Watch site will feature Budget Bulletins and other up-to-date information about the university's budget planning. In addition, we welcome creative ideas and thoughtful suggestions for how the university can deal with these budget challenges. You may also post questions, and we will provide answers as quickly as possible.
