Positions Interviewing for:
-Staff Accountants
As a staff accountant at BKD, you may use your critical thinking abilities to help clients solve problems or apply your social skills to build rewarding business relationships. You will work with clients from a variety of industries as you develop your technical skills and strengthen the foundation on which you will build your career. Whether you choose to start in audit or tax, you will be coached by our experienced staff and management personnel. As your skill set grows, you will assume greater responsibility and actively participate in determining your career path.

Successful staff accountants display the following skills and characteristics:

•Strong oral and written communication skills
•Ability to work well with a team as well as independently
•Problem-solving attitude
•Willingness to take initiative

•Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines
 
-Accounting Interns
As an intern at BKD, you will gain valuable experience that may help you decide whether you want to start your career in audit or tax, or even whether public accounting is right for you. You will work on client engagements just like those assigned to our entry-level staff accountants, gaining exposure to a variety of industries and testing out your technical know-how. You will work alongside our senior staff and management personnel, learning from their experience as you develop your skill set.

Internship positions are available in audit, tax or a combination of the two. Generally, spring semester internships run from mid-January through April 15th, and summer internships run from mid-June through early August. All internships are full-time positions and require taking the semester off from classes. Spring semester internships require overtime and weekend hours.
