Whether you are seeking an internship to apply what you have learned in your classes so far, or you are graduating soon and are exploring associate opportunities, BKD offers experiences that will get your career started on a path to success.

As an intern at BKD, you will gain valuable experience that may help you decide whether you want to start your career in audit or tax, or even whether public accounting is right for you. You will work on client engagements just like those assigned to our entry-level associates, gaining exposure to a variety of industries and testing out your technical know-how. You will work alongside our senior staff and management personnel, learning from their experience as you develop your skill set.

As an associate at BKD, you may use your critical thinking abilities to help clients solve problems or apply your social skills to build rewarding business relationships. You will work with clients from a variety of industries as you develop your technical skills and strengthen the foundation on which you will build your career. Whether you choose to start in audit or tax, you will be coached by our experienced staff and management personnel. As your skill set grows, you will assume greater responsibility and actively participate in determining your career path.

Internship positions are available in audit, tax, or a combination of the two. Generally, spring semester internships run from mid-January through April 15th and summer internships run from early June through early August. Internships can be part time or full time positions depending on location.
