|Positions Interviewing for:
Performs standard pharmacological/microbiological tests for conformance to company and compendial specification. Uses a variety of standard laboratory equipment and instrumentation. Assists in the writing of monographs and SOP's. Routine testing includes, but is not limited to, the following: Microbiological testing of finished product, raw material, components, WFI and sterility testing. May be assigned to assist in special projects.
Perform standard qualitative and quantitative analysis on: purchased raw materials, bulk and in-process products, and finished pharmaceutical preparations utilizing accepted procedures. Utilize problem-solving techniques as needed. Write reports as required. Utilize standard analytical and safety techniques as well as instrumentation such as: UV-VIS Spectrophotometers, Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer, Polarimeter, IR and FTIR Spectrophotometer, Automatic Titrator, Karl Fischer Apparatus, pH Meters.
Directs several production cost centers, supervising production personnel in the manufacture and packaging of products. Responsibilities to include:
•Product quality and meeting quality requirements. Responds with independence to in-process quality questions.
•Assurance of CGMP compliance.
•Establishing line operating budget and tracking performance through computation of labor efficiencies and material utilization.
•Performing equipment and product validations and modifications on assigned equipment.
Supervision of inspection, reconciliation or dispensing and receivals of components.
Manage capital projects from conceptual phases through equipment installation, cGMP compliance, validation and continuous improvement. Serve as project team leader when applicable to drive successful projects in terms of scope, schedule and budget. Identify and achieve cost reduction goals through Engineering projects, conceptual design and by contributing to cost reduction ideas. Support manufacturing, facility and utility operations by troubleshooting practices, change requests, conceptual design, long range planning and recommendations. Support the development of capital plans and cycles to include project scopes and estimates. Develop long range plans for site infrastructure systems as designated by the Engineering Manager.
