The Center for Civic Leadership includes the following programs within the Community Action Project:

Tigers in Service

Tigers-in-Service Tigers in Service is a student run program that acts as a clearing house for volunteers to participate in community service activities. Hosting service projects on national days of service, sponsoring alternative breaks, and working with community agencies to find opportunities to volunteer are just a few of the services that Tigers in Service provides FHSU students. Kansas Corps


Kansas Corps serves as a coordinating agency that links the various community service and volunteerism programs from Kansas higher education institutions for the direct purpose of serving the citizens of Kansas. This group of college student volunteers provides disaster relief, social services and/or community development assistance to all regions of the state. Service-Learning

Service-Learning-Logo
Service-Learning integrates community service projects into an academic curriculum. Through preparation, action, reflection, and assessment students are able to put theories learned in the classroom into positive action in the community. See link for more information about Service-Learning.
