Service-Learning is a method of teaching and learning that integrates community service activities into academic curricula and expands the learning of students from the classroom to the community.

4th Annual Campus-Community Service Fair!

The fourth annual Campus-Community Service Fair was held at the FHSU Memorial Ballroom on September 21, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The purpose of the fair is to educate the campus about Ellis County area community organizations, to connect faculty with those community organizations to develop service-learning projects and to connect students with community organizations to explore volunteer opportunities. This year had 52 participating community organizations and over 300 students and faculty members!
