	Curt Brungardt, Ph.D Executive Director, Center for Civic Leadership Voss Distinguished Professor of Leadership Studies Office Phone: 785-628-5592 Email: cbrungar@fhsu.edu Dr. Brungardt is the senior member and creator of the Department of Leadership Studies and the co-founder of the Center for Civic Leadership. He specializes in political leadership, social change, and community organizing. Dr. Brungardt is an author and co-author of several books and numerous articles and has presented over 150 workshops throughout the world. However, he is best known as a social entrepreneur creating and developing programs, both inside and outside of academia, that directly impact peoples lives.
	Jackie Gottschalk Office Manager / Financial Officer, Center for Civic Leadership Office Phone: 785-628-5592 Email: jkgottschalk@fhsu.edu Jackie serves as the office manager and financial officer for the Center for Civic Leadership. Jackie comes to the Center after a long, successful career with the local school district in Hays, Kansas.
	Nicole Walz Administrative Assistant, Center for Civic Leadership Office Phone: 785-628-5592 Email:nmwalz@fhsu.edu Nicole is the Student Administrative Assistant for the CCL. A transfer student from the University of Kansas, this is her second year here and is now a senior at Fort Hays State University. Nicole is a member of the Leadership Studies Association (LSA). She will graduate in December 2012 with a Bachelors degree in Organizational Leadership.
	Spencer Autem Webmaster, Center for Civic Leadership Office Phone: 785-628-5592 Email: stautem@fhsu.edu Spencer serves as the Center for Civic Leadership webmaster. He is actively involved in promoting all Center for Civic Leadership programs through innovative web design. Spencer is currently a sophomore majoring in Informatics with an emphasis in Web Development.

Jordan is pursuing a Bachelor's of General Studies degree with an emphasis in Gerontology. Upon graduation in May, he plans to continue his education to obtain a Master's in social work.
	Christie Brungardt, Ph.D Senior Fellow - Women's Leadership Project, Center for Civic Leadership Instructor of Leadership Studies Office Phone: 785-628-4473 Email: cjbrunga@fhsu.edu In addition to holding a teaching position in the Department of Leadership Studies, Dr. Brungardt has been an active member in creating and implementing numerous Center for Civic Leadership programs. These include KYLA, Ben Franklin Papers, American Democracy Project, and the Kansas Women’s Leadership Conference. Christie holds a Ph.D. from Kansas State University.
	Abigail Rhoades Graduate Assistant, Center for Civic Leadership Office Phone: 785-628-4312 Email:alrhoades@fhsu.edu Abigail is the 2010-2011 Graduate Assistant for the Center for Civic Leadership. She holds an associates degree from Nebraska Christian College in Deaf Ministry and a bachelor's from Fort Hays State University in Music. Abigail is currently pursuing a Master's of Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership at Fort Hays State University.
	Luo Zhai Research Specialist - Women's Leadership Project, Center for Civic Leadership Office Phone: 785-628-4312 Email: l_zhai@fhsu.edu Luo Zhai (Jessie) serves as an Research Specialist for the Women's Leadership Project in the Center for Civic Leadership in 2010-2011. Her main focus is Jana's Campaign and Kansas Women's Leadership Conference. She got her Master's Degree in Communication Studies in 2008, and is now a pre-law student.

Her duties involve Co-planning Tiger In Service events and helping with Kansas Corps. She is pursuing a bachelors degree in Communications with a emphasis in journalism. Jordan is also the News Editor for The University Leader.

She works with organizing events that are held on campus and promotes involvement from the student body. Emily is majoring in Marketing Management with a minor in Event Planning.

She works with organizing programs to engage students in the participation of democracy and allow students to have a better understanding of the current issues facing the world today. She is a senior majoring in Political Science with International Relations and Pre-law and a certificate in Leadership.
	Shaley White American Democracy Project Student Coordinator, Center for Civic Leadership Office Phone: 785-628-5399 Email: sjwhite3@fhsu.edu Shaley serves as the Student Assistant Project Coordinator for the American Democracy Project. She creatively develops and assists in developing programs to engage the Fort Hays community in active participation and awareness of our Democracy as well as current issues. Shaley attends Fort Hays State University through the Kansas Academy of Mathematics and Science.

She works with organizing and developing curricular and co-curricular programming to engage students at FHSU to participate in projects and activities to better internationalize the campus. She is currently majoring in both Political Science with concentrations in Pre-Law and International Relations and a minor in Spanish.

She is a senior majoring in Graphic Design with a minor in Spanish.

Hazy is currently pursuing a Bachelor's of Arts with a concentration in Leadership Studies. She enjoys serving on the leadership team for FHSU Christian Challenge.
