KNOTtT
FHSU’s College of Education and Technology is part of a four
state grant project targeted to develop a system to address common needs of
alternative certification programs in Kansas, Nevada, Ohio and Texas
(KNOTtT). One aspect of this grant
is the creation of a website that provides information and support for
successful completion of the required PRAXIS tests: content and Principles of Learning and Teaching (PLT). While this site is a work in progress,
there are many advantages for you.
You do not need to be in an alternative licensure program in order to
benefit from this website.
There are online resources, e-tutorials and program
mentoring to help teachers pass these state mandated tests.
On November 6, all Transition to Teaching current participants
are invited to campus to reconnect and learn about resources provided to you
through this grant. For more
information, contact Dr. Jim Barrett at jbarrett@fhsu.edu
or 785-628-4413.
