• Completion of an approved teacher education program including general education program for teacher education and professional education requirements.
• Completion of a baccalaureate degree program.
• Approval from the department chair or designated person in the area of teaching.
• Minimum overall GPA of 2.75 and a 2.75 GPA in the teaching field.
• Meet cutoff score of 161 on Principles of Learning and Teaching (PLT) test.
• Complete subject area assessment for each endorsement area desired.
• KBI/FBI fingerprint check for criminal history records.
• Completion of KSDE Form 1 "Application for Kansas Conditional License" submitted to Licensure Office (Rarick Hall 220B) along with application fee.
