Dr. Mark Bannister - 2009 Pilot Award Winner

Dr. Mark Bannister received the Pilot Award - Fort Hays State University's most prestigious faculty award for teaching, scholarship, and research during the spring 2009 Commencement Ceremonies. Bannister has taught courses at Fort Hays State University since 1993, is an active and well respected scholar and has provided significant service to the State of Kansas. At the time of the award, Bannister was Chair of the Department of Information Networking and Telecommunications and taught such courses as "Law of Cyberspace," "Public Policy, Law, and Ethics in Information Networking," and "Capstone in Information Networking." In July 2009, Bannister was named Dean of the College of Business and Leadership at Fort Hays State University.
