IN NEED OF MORE COURSES THIS FALL? HERE ARE SOME OPTIONS:

  1. In response to the high demand of Management courses , we have opened another section of MGT 611: Human Resource Management and Accounting 203: Financial Accounting. If you are interested in enrolling in this course for Fall 07, enroll immediately. Please note: this is a prerequisite for several MGT and HRM courses. If you have not yet taken this course, I encourage you to do so.
  2. As of Aug 8th, all students who have not paid for their courses will be automatically dropped from them. You will find that many courses will open up then. This opportunity can be used to add classes to your schedule.
  3. Students are constantly adding and dropping courses; check back regularly to see which classes open up.

VISIT THE NEW VIRTUAL B.BA-MGT ADVISING WEB PAGE to get your FAQs answered or to make an advising appointment.

DO YOU NEED TO KNOW WHICH COURSES COUNT TOWARDS YOUR REQUIREMENTS?

Please update your bookmarks to include the new link for General Education requirements. It will help you determine what courses count towards, for example, humanities or social/behavioral sciences credits.

HELPFUL ENROLLMENT ADVICE:

  1. When adding courses in TigerEnroll, don’t forget to add courses to your schedule, NOT just your worksheet. Your seat isn’t saved in the class until the courses are saved to your schedule and submitted to your advisor for approval.
  2. Plan ahead. If you are frustrated with your course options (or lack thereof) for this semester, let’s work together this semester to better plan for next semester; Pre-enrollment open in October for Spring 08 courses. Be prepared to enroll ON THE DAY you are able to, which means you should plan your coursework prior to October.

USEFUL ACADEMIC SUCCESS ADVICE

  • If during your first few days of class you are already feeling overwhelmed, consider dropping a course. Did you know you can drop courses without being penalized academically or financially? Check out our policy on dropping courses.
  • Need tutoring for a class? FHSU will pay for online tutoring at Smarthinking.com for virtual students. You can submit papers for editing and even get help with your math homework. Sign up today!
