SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:
As previously mentioned in an email last week, you have been
assigned a new advisor, Nanette Fitzhugh. She brings with her
a wealth of information, and you should experience a seamless
transition. Please use the same contact information (phone:
785-628-4381, email: cobladvising@fhsu.edu).
REMINDER:
You will be required to complete a phone advising appointment
prior to course approval for summer and fall pre-enrollment.
Please continue to plan on completing this 15-minute appointment.
Your enrollment will not be approved prior to your completion
of an advising appointment.
HELPFUL ENROLLMENT ADVICE:
- When planning next semester’s schedule, please be aware
of prerequisites (courses that must be taken before another
course can be taken). You can find a complete list of College
of Business & Leadership prerequisites here: http://www.fhsu.edu/cob/prerequisites.shtml
- Be prepared when your time comes to enroll for next semester.
You can build your worksheet now in TigerEnroll, and when the
system opens for you to enroll on your specified date/time,
add it for advisor approval. Building your worksheet does
not save your spot in a course; you must submit
it for advisor approval to save your spot in the course.
USEFUL ACADEMIC SUCCESS ADVICE
- Summer financial aid: If you are planning on taking summer
courses, limited financial aid is available. You will need
to complete a separate form (other than the FAFSA form you
will already fill out). This form will soon be available
on the Financial Aid
office website.
- Do you have an ‘Incomplete’ in a course? If
so, make sure that you are aware of the time guidelines and
stipulations for completing the course. Find
out more.
