Dr. Williams has published more than 20 articles in prominent journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, and others. His research interests include managerial risk behavior, the effects of mood on decision making, and creative problem solving. Dr. Williams received the 2001 Teaching Excellence Award from the Jesse H. Jones School of Business, as well as teaching commendations from the National University of Singapore and the Jones School of Business Research Award for 2002-2003. More recently, he has been selected as a National Society of Collegiate Scholars Distinguished Member in 2006 and was one of ten instructors world-wide to be inducted as a BSG-Online Hall of Fame Master Professor for Fall 2005
Dr. Williams has presented seminars and consulted for the Singapore Institute of Personnel Management, the Central Provident Fund of Singapore, Malayan Banking Berhad, and other firms in the United States and in Southeast Asia in the areas of motivation, managerial decision making, and creative problem solving. |
