COBE faculty offer Tilford international career plan project

In March 2014, COBE Professors Skip Ward and Justin Evans hosted a panel of speakers who addressed international career opportunities.  Several faculty members throughout the University incorporated the panel discussion as part of a broader project in which students wrote career plans focused on international career opportunities in their respective disciplines.  Participating students indicated that they developed an appreciation for the relevance and importance of diversity to the modern American workplace and to their own careers.  Each student’s career plan also articulated the many ways in which students will continue their global involvement at Fort Hays throughout their remaining time as students.  Over 100 students from 10 disciplines at Fort Hays participated in the project.  The panel was funded by a grant from the FHSU Tilford Diversity Committee.
