Activating Change

Overview

This workshop identifies the most critical practices for activating change required in organizations. Participants will learn how to assess their individual change capability and how to best leverage their personal strengths to navigate change. This high energy, interactive workshop is tailored to meet the needs of individuals at all levels of the organization including front line employees, lead and first-level supervisors, and top management members. Participants will leave this workshop with user-friendly methods to successfully manage change and be better prepared to help their organization succeed long-term by gaining the confidence and the flexibility to respond to constant change.

  • Learn about a change in efficient, productive ways
  • Identify external business realities that create the need for change
  • Leverage past successes and strengths to adapt to change
  • Take positive action within their areas of control
  • Resist the natural tendency to sink into a negative view of change

Facilitator

Facilitated by Ruth Bealer, SPHR. Ruth has experience in both the public and private sector, and currently serves as the Human Resources Director for the accounting firm Adams, Brown, Beran and Ball. Ruth brings a wealth of experience in employee and labor relations, performance management, culture change, and has an HR generalist background. Ruth has worked with major corporations as well as mid-size local organizations. Participants will find her approach to human resources and workplace issues to be very practical and easy to implement. She brings concept and theory to life with her real-world application and a sense for the reality of day-to-day business.
