Dr. Anthony Gabel - Spring 2009 University Outstanding Teaching Award

Dr. Anthony Gabel received Fort Hays State University's "Outstanding Teaching Award" for Spring 2009. This is an award nominated by faculty peers and recognizes a faculty member's effectiveness in the classroom. Dr. Gabel teaches Legal Environment of Business classes. Students praise his teaching for tying the classroom to real examples and for making learning interesting. His students have also complimented him on his effectiveness at teaching complex ideas in ways that are understandable. In addition to his teaching, Gabel serves in multiple leadership roles on the faculty and maintains a specialized private legal practice.
