Albertson Hall, Room 131 (785) 628-5366 ![]() Since 1954, the Herndon Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic at Fort Hays State University has accepted a dual mission of providing comprehensive services in speech, language, and hearing as well as professional clinical training for seniors and graduate students majoring in speech-language pathology. The clinic is named in honor of Dr. Geneva Herndon, founder of the Communication Disorders Program. As part of FHSU's Department of Communication Disorders, the Herndon Clinic provides professional clinical education for graduate and undergraduate students majoring in speech-language pathology. As the only university affiliated clinic in western Kansas, it accepts the responsibility of meeting the needs of individuals with communication impairments from this broad geographic area. Nationally certified and licensed faculty and clinical students use the latest evidence-based research practices to provide you with a high quality, comprehensive evaluation and treatment program.
