FHSU ALUM is SLP of the YEAR
Thelma Berland, Damar, Kansas, has been named the 2008 Speech-Language Pathologist of the Year by the Kansas Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She received this honor at their annual conference in Overland Park on October 2-4, 2008. She was recognized for her dedication and commitment to helping children and adults who have communication disorders. She earned a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 1995 from Fort Hays State University. Currently Thelma is an employee of the Northwest Kansas Educational Service Center.
