About Dr. Eigenmann-Malik

C. S. Eigenmann-Malik has been affiliated with 15 professional communication organizations. She has presented 23 refereed papers in intercultural communication and rhetoric; with research interests in electronic communication usage. Publications include a textbook, five articles, three book chapters, three videos, two anthologies, and a data retrieval compendium in addition to professional editing and educational counseling.

Dr. Eigenmann has work experience in international management and consulting (5 years); public relations, university development and telemarketing (7 years); speech clinic & forensics judging (3 years); and teaching in higher education (16 years).

Before joining the faculty at Fort Hays State University, Dr. Eigenmann taught at Shantou University in Guangdong Province, China. She also acted as Head of Business Communications, Sultan Qaboos University, Oman and Dean of the Indianapolis College of Business and Computer Science, Lahore, Pakistan. She has been affiliated with Lamson & Sessions, Inc. as a technical writer for their electrical conduit and fixture warehouse in Oklahoma City, USA. She has also been employed as a researcher and archivist for the Kirkpatrick Oil Foundation and American National Bank. Dr. Eigenmann served as executive assistant to presidents of two major organizations: Eastern Illinois Labor Council, and American Asbestos Institute.
