The first step on your path to success begins with acquiring the knowledge to be successful at a career.  By using the resources available through Academic Advising and Career Exploration Center, Career Services and the Center for Student Involvement, students will have the opportunity to explore the career they wish to pursue, best practice steps to get there and network with potential employers. 

Core Requirements:

Major and Career Exploration
Attend the Majors & Graduate Programs Fair and complete one of the following:

  • Pass UNIV 100 - Major and Career Exploration
  • Complete the Career Exploration Module in the Academic Advising and Career Exploration Center
  • Complete the MyMajors Module on TigerTracks and set up an appointment with the Academic Advising and Career Exploration Center

Career Examination
Complete all of the following:

  • Attend two Career Internship Days, Interview Days, or Job Fairs
  • Attend a Mock Interview Day
  • Participate in a Professional Student Organization

Career Awareness
Complete all of the following:

  • Complete an Internship, Serviceship, Practicum or other approved work experience. 

Career Readiness
Complete the following: 

  • Activate your Careers for Tigers Account
  • Upload your resume through Career for Tigers
  • Have your resume reviewed with Career Services
