Diversity Affairs

Diversity Affairs will provide support services for minority students at Fort Hays State University (FHSU). Working in partnership with the campus community to help create and sustain a learning environment that is inclusive and responsive to diversity and that prepares students to lead in a diverse world.

Greek Life

Fraternities and Sororities are one of the best ways for you to get involved in campus life, make new friends and enrich your college experience. Here are a few reasons why you should consider membership in a Greek Letter organization: friendships will last a lifetime; academic standards produce excellence both in and out of the classroom; leadership opportunities provide you with valuable experiences for the world after college; philanthropic and community service activities help those in need and give back to the community.

Special Events/Encore Series

Through the presentation of varied forms of performing arts, the Special Events Committee strives to educate, inspire, invoke thought and entertain. It is our goal to promote artistic expression, cultural understanding and social awareness at FHSU and throughout western Kansas through the presentation of diverse, high-caliber performing arts programs.

Student Organization

Membership in student organizations is a vital part of student life at FHSU. Student organizations are a part of the total education al curriculum available to students. They provide opportunities to grow mentally, physically, socially and spiritually. Students are encourage to find a balance between academics and extra-curricular activities to form a well-rounded university career.

University Activities Board

University Activities Board (UAB) is a university-wide, student-run activity board which present a variety of programs throughout the academic year, including social, cultural, recreational and education opportunities.
