Accessing Your Scatcat "My Documents" Folder

When you save files to the “My Documents” folder on a computer in a Fort Hays State University on-campus lab that uses the TigerTracks login, the files are saved in your Scatcat account.

Your Scatcat “My Documents” folder can also be accessed from other computers by using Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) programs, such as FileZilla Client, a freeware program that is available for use on both Windows and Macintosh platforms. The use of non-secure FTP applications is NOT recommended.

Instructions for Transferring Files to and from Your FHSU Scatcat Account Using FileZilla Client are available in the E-Mail and Web Pages section of the CTC HelpDesk Web site at www.fhsu.edu/ctc/helpdesk/transfer_filezilla.shtml.

FileZilla can be downloaded for free at http://filezilla-project.org/.
