Accessing Your Scatcat My Documents Folder
When you save files to the My Documents folder on a computer in a Fort Hays State University on-campus lab that uses the TigerTracks login, they are saved in your Scatcat account. Your Scatcat My Documents folder can also be accessed from other computers by following the instructions on this page. In addition, instructions for using File Transfer Protocol (FTP) programs to transfer files to and from your Scatcat account are also available from the CTC HelpDesk.
- Obtain an active Internet connection.
- Open Internet Explorer
- In the address bar, type ftp://scatcat.fhsu.edu and press Enter
- Click OK on the FTP Folder Error dialog box.
- Choose File from the Internet Explorer menu at the top of your browser, and then select Login As.
- Enter your TigerTracks Username and Password in the dialog box.
- Click Log On.
- You have now accessed your Scatcat My Documents folder. Files can be stored here by dragging and dropping or copying and pasting them into this folder. When deleting files from your Scatcat account, always be careful not to delete any files that you did not create.
