“Do you want to install and
run Lotus Domino Applet?”
This message sometimes occurs when using Web browser
access (iNotes) if you have not accessed your e-mail from that computer since
an update was done on the server. You should choose Yes
to allow the application to run properly.

“Unable to load frame's content.
This operation is not allowed. A Consistency Check is needed on
Database XXX.NSF.”
This message can occur if you are logged in to the
Lotus Notes server when it goes down unexpectedly. In the process of
bringing the server back up, a consistency check is performed on each database. If
you attempt to access your account before this check is completed for your mail
database, you will receive this message. Sometimes
you may need to wait 20 to 30 minutes for the consistency check
to finish.

“Cannot access NotesHub”
“Server not responding”
“Unable to find path to server” The
Server not responding message normally indicates
that the system is down. The Unable to find path to server
message can also indicate this. If you believe the system may be
down, wait a few minutes and then try again. You can contact
the CTC HelpDesk if you wish to verify system status.
If you receive a Cannot access NotesHub
or Unable to find path to server message, first
make sure the location on the status bar (in the bottom right corner
of your LN Client) is set to Office. Some of these messages may also occur if your network or Internet connection is not active. Try
shutting down your computer and restarting, and make sure that you
are able to log in to the network (or the Internet) successfully.
If these steps do not solve your problem, contact
the CTC HelpDesk for assistance.

“Cannot allocate database object.
Database would exceed its disk quota.”
This message indicates that there is not enough personal
allocated space on the Lotus Notes system to execute the
command. Each Lotus Notes user is allocated a certain amount
of space (disk quota) and when it is exceeded, you will receive
this message. This can occur if there are too many documents in
your mail database. The documents are taking up too much space,
and any commands that require use of additional space cannot be
executed.
This error usually happens when attempting to send
mail or attachments. One temporary step can sometimes be
taken to allow you to send the message – do not save a copy
of the message you are sending. If your system automatically saves
a copy of all messages that you send, you can change this as follows:
Click on File, and Preferences,
and then choose User Preferences. Click on the
Mail and News button. Change the Save sent mail
setting to Always Prompt.
The long-term solution to this problem is
to delete some of your old documents to create enough room so this
error message will not occur. For more information, see Clearing Space in Lotus Notes.
